Overview
About Me
I am a high school math teacher living in Houston, TX although I grew up in Newton, MA. I enjoy traveling and what I enjoy most about traveling is spending time with interesting people on the road. I am new to couch surfing and I am hoping that it will provide an avenue for meeting great people.
My current short-term goal is exploring how I can best use my skills in math to help improve the lives of others.
Other than that, I am a vegetarian supporter of animal rights, I am a meditater and possibly a Buddhist practitioner, and I am newfound supporter of what is called the "effective altruist" movement. But mostly, I am a supporter of jokes and general goofiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 5 months in Mumbai for an exchange program. During one trip there, my friend took me to his home town. Since I was the only foreigner that had every gone to that town, I received a lot of attention. At the time I was there, there was a wedding ceremony going on. The "townies" pulled me into a chair next to the stage where the bride and groom sat, so that everyone around could take pictures of me. I have never received that much attention in my life and I don't plan on receiving that much again.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach/Learn/Share: Math, meditation, how to do the wacky-wavy-inflatable arms dance. Different perspectives on the world and perspectives on how to live a happy and fulfilling life in the day-to-day.
Freestyle rapping!
