Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to meet new people passing through London, exchange experiences, debate big questions and have a damn good time. I grew up in one country for most of my life and even if that life took place in New York City, there is a whole world and over six billion people out there that have experiences to share. Just as much as I'm looking to meet new friends and trade stories, I just as much want to understand how other people have lived their lives up to the present.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Conquered a 20 mile obstacle course that ended with a leap of faith over a wall of fire. Oh yeah, and waded through ice water, had my legs frozen on the other side and then get rescued by a well-meaning American Southerner carrying salt packets. Great times.

I have been told I am a human almanac on politics, history, etc so if you can stand that, we are already on the same page.

If you want to practice your English as a non-native speaker, I can help with that as well. Especially if you are a Russian speaker-I desperately will take any chance I can to improve on my spoken Russian.
