Overview
About Me
Lab manager by day, bartender by night. Born and raised in Michigan, but get out to explore whenever possible. My interests include traveling, beer brewing, botany, kayaking, camping, hiking, and pottery. My dog is my best friend, loyal companion, and adventure buddy (though he doesn't travel much with me).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Friendship, camaraderie, and paying it forward.
I share a large house with some good friends and we're usually happy to host travelers for a night or two. We're just trying to pay it forward and offer some hospitality to any travelers coming to the Ann Arbor area. Due to a busy work schedule and balancing two jobs, I can't host surfers for more than 1-2 nights, and I usually only host surfers with references.
As for traveling, I go on long road trips every now and then. They can get a bit lonely, especially after multiple weeks on the road. Meeting friendly and welcoming strangers in unfamiliar places is an amazing way to explore, as well as a wonderful opportunity to experience a different city/culture first hand. Couchsurfing is an excellent opportunity to meet those strangers and turn them into friends.
