About Me

Living to Love Life...
Outgoing, likes to have a laugh.
Extrovert? Introvert? Aren't we all a bit of both.
What you see is what you get.

Opportunities come & go...
Memories last forever.

Intending to make a good positive impact on peoples lives. In a sense.

Traveling definitely helped me grow up. I love the social vibe of traveling, such a range of experiences present themselves, unique in the good and the bad. I received lots of incredible hospitality whilst on the road so would like to be able to share some back to the people...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cultural experiences of every kind possible. Giving & receiving.

Internet hitch hiking... can't be a bad thing surely?

Hospitality travels the world & comes in all shorts of shapes & sizes.

Interests

The general psychology of life, our human existence, forgotten knowledges, ancient buried/lost civilisations, what happens when we die? Where did we come from? Too deep? OK sorry, take a breath, relax.
Education... OK OK chill, om 🕉
Food. I like food.
I would love to expand my liking of food to include: Growing, picking, preparing & eating. What a wonderful cycle. Then the recycling of foods..
Energy. In all the forms.
I'm an Electrician and working in the construction industry. I would like to take the skills & knowledge I have and use them to navigate towards a more sustainable lifestyle. Away from the current throw away society I've been living for a large part of my life... be the change you want to see in the world & all that.
I want to be part of the change towards preserving life, I'm currently in the beginning phase of this transition... so there's lots of space for improvement here...

All the generics that the cool kids are keen on…ie...
Active lifestyle...
Living out Dreams.
Art, Music, Photography.
Freedom of expressions.
Exploring - hiking & general walking from place to place...
Also loves to just do nothing.
I DJ, sort of.

Gaining perspective & appreciation of this roller coaster that is life!

It's interesting to see what a human being can do, what we are capable of, what makes us & what breaks us.

Life is a game we play.
I find it all rather interesting.

And almost anything in between, there's music for every mood I say so I'm open to it all.

Forrest Gump is the greatest movie of all time. Then again so is The Matrix.
Movies which provoke your mind to do what it does. And ones that tickle the old humour senses.
Plenty movies provide entertainment though.

Oscar Wilde, the picture of Dorian Grey is probably the best book I've ever read.
I enjoy short novels, auto/biographies, thrillers, travel, factual books all sorts nowadays…

Time on the road broadens all the horizons...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scrambling up then back down the El Misti Volcano in Arequipa, Peru.

Descending in to Monument Valley, USA... Seeing the sunset and spending the night under the stars before seeing the sunrise.

Jumping out of an aeroplane with a parachute stuck to my back....

Most of my time in Nepal :D

To be fair, waking up and living every day is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Oh man… where to start?
Lessons in Life never end.

I'd love to be a teacher professionally… but teaching what's on the western worlds curriculum is not my idea of teaching. I intend to spend some time teaching English language in some foreign countries throughout my life… that would be a good experience along with immersing myself in to the different cultures...

What I Can Share with Hosts

Time. It's quite precious.

Maybe even food.
