About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying summer to the fullest.

ABOUT ME

Recently graduated from university, I attended Canisius, a small liberal arts school in Buffalo, New York as well as the University of Strasbourg's School of Management.

I require very few things to survive, music is one of them. I love that stripped down folk/indie rock sound. Alternative Rock is pretty huge on my playlists. I also love jazz music, mainly Hard Bop/Cool Jazz but I also love the standards. Other than that, I also like Pop, and some EDM stuff.

Lately I've been getting into Art a lot more, mostly modern and contemporary stuff.(Post-impressionism is my favorite) Thankfully in Buffalo, we have the Albright-Knox Gallery which has a renown and large variety in its collection.

Coffee.Coffee.Coffee. I've been working on drinking less, but it will always be my first love.

Food, All kinds, but Seafood, Mexican, Sushi, Italian and Greek/Lebanese top my list.

PHILOSOPHY

Monotony is the leading cause to a boring life, its our responsibility as people to change it up sometime, meet new people, experience new things, and live outside our element on occasion ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing and Hosting, I love both, I originally began as a surfer but given my proximity to Niagara Falls I became a pretty strategic host. I love every minute of hosting because my guests always bring something new to the table. (sometimes literally!) :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't couchsurf often, my friends are much more active than I am, I've been busy lately, but I'm trying to get more active in the CS Community.

Hopefully this was covered in my About Me section...

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is The Brothers Bloom, I don't really like Action or Horror movies, most comedies are bad, but I like the light and subtle, often dry humor.

I definitely have this covered above, but some of my favorite bands are Two Door Cinema Club, The Strokes, Thelonious Monk, Coltrane,Yo La Tengo, Cannonball Adderley, Chet Baker, Jack Johnson. The list goes on...

I mostly like classic American Literature, but most of my reading is from the news, magazines and online publications.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best decision of my life, by far, has been to study abroad. My experiences so far have been once in a lifetime. I never want it to end.

During summer of 2012 I went to Lollapalooza Music Festival, it was by far one of the most interesting and fun experiences of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a bit of a history buff. I know a ton about my city and hopefully I'll be able to help with my insight whenever possible.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
