Overview
About Me
22yo recent grad. Currently working as a public health microbiologist testing for communicable diseases including bacterial, viral, parasitic, and fungal. Just starting my career and decided to take a big trip before I really get settled into my job. So I will be traveling through Europe with a friend from college for 6wks (8/30-10/17). Love to travel and meet new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the principles of couchsurfing and how it facilitates a different and more intimate kind of experience between travelers. It takes a special kind of person to open up their homes and take in complete strangers from around the world. And i'd imagine that those interactions really broaden a persons perspective. I have been on couchsurfing for a few yrs but have yet to really use it. I met one couchsurfing host through some friends when I was visiting Berlin. The guy that was hosting my friends, was extremely nice and really took me and my friends under his wing and showed us all around Berlin when he had time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Studying abroad in Sweden for 5months. Was an amazing decision. It really sparked my desire to continue traveling. And I am so glad that I will now be able to go back 2 years later and see friends that I made in my time over there.
cliff swinging in yosemite national park, but only once lol
What I Can Share with Hosts
First I want to say that I will always treat your home with respect as if it were my own home. Beyond that, I want to build friendships and share fun/new experiences with the person I am staying with. I enjoy going out and being social. I definitely want to share stories and get to know you. And I would love to host people visiting California, once I move to my own place (hopefully I will be moving to Santa Barbara winter of this yr). Also I really enjoy sending snacks and snail mail to my friends abroad to keep in touch. So hopefully we can meet and have a great time together :)
