About Me

When I walk down the sidewalk, I smile and acknowledge your existence.

I like to beekeep, rock climb, practice karate, hike, bike, dance, read, play soccer, drink good beer and see new places!

I'm a respectful guest. I love to cook, happy to do dishes, and provide lively conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was lucky enough to travel extensively with my parents as I grew up, but now I'm determined to experience my own journey.

I want to be a part of a loving global community. You can't get stories, tips, tricks, and the special havens of a new place from a hotel room. It has to come from the people in those places.

When venturing, I find myself in places that I know near to nothing about. Whether it is in a metropolis or backpacking through the wilderness, I would love meet up with awesome people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trained Kung Fu in the Shaolin Temple with a master warrior monk as my teacher

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught martial arts, including KungFu, Tai Chi, and Brazilian Ju Jitsu. Other random skills include above average whistling, flower stick twirling, doing the worm with my eye brows...and mediocre salsa dancing. I love doing all of these activities. I've also been a vegetarian since birth and have convinced quite a few people that tofu can taste awesome. I now try fresh fish or a morsel of the meat that someone says is "really really freakin good".

I want to learn about the cultural differences between my upbringing and yours. Tell me where else I should visit and what awesome local stuff I can do in each spot.

Countries I’ve Visited

Antarctica, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), France, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Laos, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
