Cooking, eating, swimming, hockey, writing and reading, saving money. I have spent much of the last four years working with a community organization, cooking meals, advocating for housing, organizing street hockey tournaments. I liked this job very much.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted official Couchsurfers many times in Canada, and have been a guest a few times elsewhere. I am used to having people constantly staying over otherwise. Love hosting and showing people around new places, trying to make uninteresting cities somehow memorable.

Hiked across a lake to a cabin in Northwest Territories, Canada in -35 degrees Celsius.

I want to participate in communities in whatever way possible.
I want to learn different perspectives from people of different backgrounds. I want to learn what makes places special and how those places change the people that live and travel there.
I want to learn more languages, and feel it is necessary to learn as much as possible about a place and its language.
