Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
One day I want to change the world, but right now I'd rather see it. Travel, learn, meet people, eat new food, listen to new music, and get an education in the process.
ABOUT ME
I am a student of Economics, Sociology and Political Philosophy, but mostly I just like to learn things, hike and explore nature, play sport, and meet new people. I am a huge fan of random sporting/physical adventure, like mountain biking trips and long hikes, but I'm also a huge fan of reading, most of those British sports that they forced upon the colonies (golf, cricket, rugby) and any kind of political/social justice conversation. In spite of this apparent fitness oriented lifestyle, I really like beer and a party, especially Belgian beer, and especially electro-funk if I'm partying.
PHILOSOPHY
Always stay interested.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am currently travelling and studying a Masters programme in Gent in Belgium, so would love a place to stay for a few nights, but also enjoy meeting people and doing new things. So I can be a quiet addition to your abode, or actively engage with your lifestyle. My place in Cape Town will be available from February 2016 when I am back in South Africa, and I would love to host you there! Its a beautiful place.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In both Romania and Vienna I had great surfing experiences and find it the best way to travel: unlike at hostels, you actually meet locals and expereince local culture. No formal hosting expereince, but I am all for the surfing philosophy and when i settle to a spot I'm keen to host too.
Interests
Cycling, reading, music, travelling, writing, meeting people, sport (lots of them), food (lots of it), partying, hiking, sociology. Other stuff too, just ask me.
