ABOUT ME

Missourian who has been living in Panama since June 2014. I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer working in Enviormental Health here. I live in Puerto Indio, an indigenous community in the Comarca Embera Wounaan, Darien. Given my proximity to the Columbia border, I spend my days avoiding narcotrafficers, wearing loincloths and playing my Ukelele.

Missourian que ha estado viviendo en Panamá desde junio de 2014. Yo soy un voluntario del Cuerpo de Paz que trabaja en Enviormental Salud aquí. Yo vivo en Puerto Indio, una comunidad indígena de la Comarca Emberá Wounaan, Darién. I often have to make trips to Panama City, and I'd like to use the opportunity to get to know the young-person culture of the country (as well as aprovecharing a place to stay).

Muchas veces tengo que ir al Panama, y me gustaria aprovechar la opportunidad para encontrar y pasear con la juventud.

I enjoy running and love the outdoors. Any excuse to be outside I take advantage of. Meeting new people, chilling and live music are my passions.

Me gusta correr y me encanta el aire libre. Cualquier excusa para estar fuera aprovecho. Encontrando gente nueva, escuchando música escalofriante y paseando con calma son mis pasiones.

Movies: Coen Brothers or Wes Anderson movies are always great, vintage Clint Eastwood movies, Jingle All The Way.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Fluent in English, learning Embera, and mediocre in Spanish. More than happy to teach swear words in any of the three.

Spent a year as an AmeriCorp with Habitat for Humanity, so if you have a home repair project I'd be more than happy to help/offer advice.
