Overview
About Me
I will be living in Brazil for the next year and I hope to see as much of the country as possible. I lived in Salvador, Bahia for 6 months in 2011, mostly to train capoeira. This time, I will be working as an English teacher at the Universidade Federal de Uberlandia.
Above all, I enjoy challenging myself, expanding my comfort zone, and having fun. By travelling the world on my own I seek to do all three.
“For joy of knowing what may not be known, we take the golden road to Samarkand.”
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have never used couchsurfing before, but I have done a considerable amount of travelling, and never without the help of some welcoming strangers along the way. These friendly folks always end up leaving better memories than the destination itself. Through couchsurfing, I hope to connect with more people who share my appreciation for travelling and sharing cultures.
While I am staying with you, my top priority will be to respect your home and how you live.
