ABOUT ME

We currently live in Kansas City and have been here for over 2 years. We are planning a trip in 2014 that will begin with the World Cup in Brazil. We want this to be a really long trip and are planning to see most of South America, Central America, Eastern Europe and Asia. We are going to do very little actual planning before the trip and just slowly make are way from city to city. We would like to spend some time skiing in Argentina and Chile and exploring the jungles of Costa Rica and Panama.

Interests

The mountains. Kate is from Denver and I was lucky enough to live there for a while. We are both crazy about the mountains. Skiing or hiking or whatever.

Colorado beer: Colorado has some of the best breweries!

We are both big fans of the Denver Broncos, Oklahoma State Football (my alma mater) and the OKC Thunder.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending 6 months in the Czech Republic really made me want to see more of the world. A recent trip to the Bahamas for a week led to the decision that we needed to take a long term round the world trip.

Kate is a Registered Dietitian and is really good at making delicious healthy meals!
