Overview
About Me
4th year biomedical physiology student at Simon Fraser University. Working there as a lab tech in a forensic entomology lab and for Coquitlam as a behavioural interventionist. Love to hike, kayak, camp, and pretty much anything else outdoors! Ran 800m in track for my uni for two years before stress fractures in my shins started to widen and I had to stop. Getting back into it now and would love to start transitioning into longer runs and eventually compete in a marathon. Blonde ales are the best kind of beer and IPAs suck fight me about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people and make new connections. When you're in upper div courses, the class sizes are a lot smaller and you know most people pretty well since you've seen them around in all the pre req courses. When youre studying with the same people, going to class with the same people, volunteering and getting work experience with the same people, it's hard to make new connections, especially with those who are outside your field of study/expertise. Also yenno, I'm a broke student so

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Helping children with special needs is pretty fricken cool I think, so I do something amazing errytime I go to work. Something that sounds less pretentious though was when I went to Nice, France and made my own wine in a local wine shop; that was sick.
