Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As most other college students, when I travel I must do it on a dime. My eldest brother has been a "couchsurfer" for years and has always encouraged me to consider it in my travels as it has proved to be a unique way of traveling and a great opportunity to meet kind and interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an old soul stuck in a young man's body. I do not listen to much music that was created in my lifetime. I believe popular music has lost the expressive qualities it once had – although that is an overgeneralization. I prefer to listen to mostly African-American inspired music such as: The Blues, Jazz, Soul, Funk, and R&B.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say the most amazing thing I have had to opportunity to do is attend college. Higher education is a privilege that many people do not have an opportunity to obtain. The experinces that have ensued as a result of my educational endeavors have been monumental.
