About Me

Travelling solo in Europe for the first time and giving couchsurfing a go for the first time too after much encouragement from my friends down under! I live in Queensland, the "Sunshine State" of the sunniest country in the world, though despite my photo, I prefer cool and cloudy weather ⛅

I love exploring cities by foot and without much of a plan - the most interesting things are down alleys and streets you would never have found if you looked for them. I enjoy nice wine, bad beer, and vegan food (but I have too big a weakness for cheese to go all the way). I love many kinds of music - from Spanish guitar to hip-hop, jazz to psychedelic rock, & classical to psytrance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't want to just be a tourist - if I'm travelling properly, I want to experience what it is like living in the place, and meeting amazing people from it. My Australian friends have told me amazing stories of wonderful people and friends they've met couchsurfing, and the experiences they never would have had otherwise.
