Overview
About Me
Moving to another country at the age of 17 changed me in a better way, showing new culture, new ways of living; making me independent and adaptable to any situation, (it also made my shyness fade away).
The postulations of my life are peace, love, unity and respect :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Being a student is a bit tough on finances but the will to travel, meet people with different worldviews and see beyond the local frames are stronger.
Interests
I've been playing guitar for 3 years with some huge brakes, though I can play some nice pieces. Not much of a reader for the last few years, but when I do, I read different stuff and as I was a kid my toys were encyclopedias:)
- cooking
- beer
- reading
- guitar
- hiking
- science
- writing poems
Music, Movies, and Books
-There's not such thing as bad music - tastes differ; some stuff that I like: Metallica, Tame Impala, Alt-J, Roosevelt, ASAP, Tender, BONES, Arctic Monkeys, Crystal Castles aaaand so on. Sometimes I have a mood for 80's and 90's music, classical music, some jazz and blues.
-Movies with a good plot, twisted endings and unusual characters ("13th Floor", " Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", "Inception", "Pulp Fiction", "Submarine"), it's hard to name all of them.
-What about books? I'm not stuck to precise genres, I read stuff that helps me to explore the world in many different ways: I like science as well as fiction. Currently reanding "The Witcher", favourite one - "The Master and Margarita".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent one summer helping my grandfather to build a little 2-floored cottage house (a.k.a. "dacha"). For some it may sound boring, but damn I enjoyed that summer a lot, especially when I finally saw the result of our work. That place turned out really cozy and I like chilling there when I come home for holidays:)
