Hello! My name is Nick Donelan, I am 24 years old, and I am from Florida, United States. I love to travel, meet new people, and experience new cultures. I just graduated with my Master's in business and quit my job to pursue my dream of backpacking South America. I am currently learning Spanish and am going to study in an immersion language school in Guatemala before continuing to South America. I want to do social work, volunteer, and help people in need. I am on Couchsurfing to meet people and travel the world. I think the best way to experience a new culture is to get out of the tourist areas and see how people really live. I think the best way to do this is by experiencing a place with the people that live there. By using Couchsurfing, I hope to get a first hand look on the real culture of the places I go.

I recently took a trip to Guatemala with my MBA program. We helped out a women cooperative business who was in dire need. We re-organized and improved their business tremendously. It was the best thing I have ever done in my life and inspired me to give up my office job and pursue something more meaningful with my life. The appreciation that I saw on the women's faces was the most rewarding thing I have ever done.

I would love to teach others about my life and what I have gone through. I want to use my experiences to teach and help people improve their lives.
