Hey my name is Nicholas Gartner, I'm 20 years old and from New Zealand. I'm a very relaxed person who gets along well with others, I'm respectful and open minded.

I am interested in the arts, spending my spare time making art and poetry and looking into music and fashion. This year I have done a little bit of research into starting a small online business selling clothes and jewellery.

I am currently studying Medicine and have just finished my second year of university however I decided to take this year out as a gap year to have some new experiences, to see my family in London and also to take the time to consider how I want to move forward with my life.

I am on Couch-surfing because I am interested in my travels to meet locals and get to know the true cultures that are under the surfaces of the countries I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music is difficult to say but I have a wide range of music that I listen to and enjoy ranging from easy listening artists like Jack Johnson and Ben Howard, to electronic artists like RL Grime, Crystal Castles and Shlohmo. I first started listening to rock music when I was like 9 years old and really liked bands like Nirvana, RHCP and Foo fighters.

I really like listening to music and can appreciate most kinds of music. Keen to meet and trade music with people.
