Overview
About Me
I am a bicycle mechanic from St. Paul Minnesota on a tour south with my good friend in search of warmer weather this winter. We have been traveling for about a week now and will be running out of familiar faces to host us soon, and we're hoping to find refuge from the upcoming wind and cold on our way to the Gulf of Mexico along the river. We are very interested, also, in sharing our story and getting to hear some good ones along the way. I hope we can meet, and make, some great friends along the way! Cheers!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to hopefully seek some shelter from the upcoming storms in the Midwest and to meet groovy folks on my journey south and subsequently westward.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is boundless with little loyalty to any one genre or band. Movies I enjoy are mostly comedy or thrillers. And for reading I almost exclusively go horror--most any sort of suspenseful fiction really.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have worked at the same bike shop for ten years, and I finally decided to take a break and roam the country by bike for a while. Having been in the same industry, and location, for so long has given me a lot of experience with bikes and a great sensibility when interacting with a vast diversity of people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn about the great people that inhabit the Midwest and am very happy to share my knowledge of the bicycle and anything else I can offer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I, and my travel companion, share much experience with bicycle maintenance. We would gladly offer bicycle tuneup services as reciprocity for hosts' generously and hospitality. We have much of the supplies needed to perform a number of adjustments on several styles of bicycles. And we also always do our best to help out as we can otherwise--whether that be just making something to eat and cleaning up, to any work requests/requirements a host may have.
