This acount is about me (Nick) and my girlfriend Ellen. Since two year we're a happy couple, that lives together in Antwerp. Ellen has just finished university, she studied art and culture mediation (part of social work). After a bit of traveling she will look for a fine job. Until now she always worked in a bar. I've been working for several years in the chemical industry. In my freetime i'm busy organising a music festival, 'Akkerpop', or i'm chilling with my friends and girlfriend.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We're on couchsurfing because we'll travel to Cuba, Panama and Costa Rica soon (from 14 sept to 13 nov). We want to explore this beautiful countries as couchsurfers, because it's a great way to meet lovely people al over the world. We want to make an adventurous journey and discover nice places. So Couchsurfing is perfect for that, no?

We both had a few couchsurfing experience, by friends of ours. For a few years we lived together with some friends and we received a lot of guests via couchsurfing. Also during our trip in Mexio and Guatemala, a year ago, we couchsurfed a few times. Ellen Also did it in Sweden and Holland. Now we will travel with the two of us, so it was time to made a couchsurfacount by ourselfs.

Our journey through Mexico and Guatemala a year ago. Together with five friends we had some unforgettable experiences over there, like watching the stars while swimming under a waterfall, surrounded by fireflies.
