About Me

I'm a 25 year old guy from Barcelona.

I was born and raised here, yet a lot of people ask me about it since they don't belive so, I'm not you average spanish guy (and this is not a good or a bad thing, rather you can try to form your own opinion).

My goal is to travel Europe (and beyond) with my motorbike. Now, with COVID restrictions I applied a halt on my plans.

I love music, specifically metal. I play guitar, but don't you worry: I won't be playing metal if you're staying in my flat :)

But seriously, I also like a big whole amount of different music genres, probably we will find many that we'll both agree on listening to.

I also enjoy talking about politics, life, experiences, history, adventures and other. You will be able to have long and deep conversations with me as long as you find a proper topic to talk about.

I love movies! If you're being hosted by me, don't hesitate to ask for a movie night in which I will prepare my delicious popcorn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I have the strong belief that I will eventually go back to the road with my motorbike and I will be able to be hosted by amazing people around the world!

This means that in order to recieve, I also need to give, thus why I'm hosting for now. We all know how hard it is to get hosted, so that's why getting references is important. Of course, that's not my main objective when hosting you: as an introvert person I really enjoy being able to get to know more people and get out of my comfort zone, as otherwise it's pretty hard to develop relationships with amazing people from around the globe, which is what I enjoy.

If I'm hosting you, please make sure to read the profile areas regarding my hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Cormac McCarthy is without doubt my favourite writter!

When it comes to movies, I pretty much like everything! I love indie movies, I would point out specifically Jeremy Saulnier and Park Chan-wook as directors, but movies is something we can definitely have a long talk about :)

Music... well, it's just too hard to start, do you want a mixed playlist to understand the whole wide amount of different genres that I like?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Inspired by the movie 'In Bruge' I started a trip from Barcelona to Bruge passing through Paris, and after Bruge, to Amsterdam. I can definitely say that it was quite an experience. I did it with my previous motorbike, a 10-year old Kawasaki ER6N 650cc

Uhm... not sure what else thought... would you like to help me expand this list by doing something with me?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play electric guitar (I could also teach you acoustic but I warn you, I'm not that good) and also drumming. I have a bass and a keyboard in case you prefer to learn such instruments even thought I'm not good enough as to be a teacher for them.

I can also teach you Spanish and programming.

Probably I can help you with any tech-related inquiries or help you fixing stuff.

And probably a lot of interesting history facts or more, but there's so much as to be specific here in Couchsurfing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since for now I'm not looking for host, I will be using this small space to specify the "rules" I have for any guest that come to my apartment, making sure that you read these is very important for me to get accepted.

I write it here since apparently not many people check the "My home" section.

So:

1) Go check the "My home" section of my profile :)
2) Being respectul to my cat is the most important rule, he's playful and lovely, would not hurt a fly (okay, yes, he hurted some flies before...) you will probably become good friends with him, if you don't believe me, go check my references :)
3) You're free, I won't be micromanaging you, don't expect me to give you instructions on what to do on a daily basis, you're free to come in and out as you wish, since I work from home and I will be here most of the time.
4) The previous doesn't mean that I'm not open to hang out with you! I would love to talk and share experiences over some 'tapas' (local food). But please, note that I'm an introvert and I might not be always up to do so.
5) I live here alone with my cat, I'm a programmer, and I spend the week days working and I must admit: I don't have a lot of time to clean, but I promise you that I try to do so. If you're going to just uncheck the "clean" box in the reference then maybe you're looking for hotel standards and not what I would be defining as clean for couchsurfing standards, if you know what I mean :) I'm offering my place for free, and It really makes me a bit sad and unmotivated to keep hosting when people just skip some of the references boxes on me. Of course, you have your own opinion and if you really think so, you can go ahead and uncheck them, however, remember that host are doing this for free.
