Overview
About Me
Hi, my names Nick Rennels! I'm originally from a small town in southern Indiana. I'm a 20 year old college student studying Marketing and Graphic design. I run a small vintage clothing company, Retro Co. Music is one of my favorite hobbies, among many, I play guitar and have brought mine along to share some tunes with anyone willing to listen. I love sports, baseball and basketball being my niche. I'm very compassionate and respectful and I love to meet new people to share experiences and memories with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently on a month long journey across America with my best friend, Cameron, who will be accompanying me if applicable. We are both very friendly, intelligent, and respectful human beings. We have been planning this trip for a while now, but we are two college kids on a budget so hotels aren't a possibility for us. We will either be lucky enough to couch surf or we will be camping somewhere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I counsel at a free kids camp for kids who's parents have/ or have passed away from cancer. Camp Kesem™, is a non-profit organization that's main focus is to give kids who are suffering from watching their parents battle against such a horrific disease, a week where they can forget about the harshness of reality and just get to be a kid again. We work all year around to raise money for camp, and to organize everything from hiring nurses, to finding a campground for more than 100 kids and 50 counselors. It is an amazing origination that I can proudly say I've have been a part of for over 10 years not only as a counselor, but as a camper.
My father got stage 4 cancer when I was in elementary school, and I attended the magical camp and continued to do so every year until I could become a counselor so I could give back to something that had given so much to me.
