I love good food and good drink, meeting new people, seeing new places and things, learning about things, discovering new things, exploring places I've never been before. I like sports, art, movies, music, good stories. I try to remain neutral politically. I am straight. My hobbies include ceramics, drawing, hiking, surfing, hanging out with friends, photography (which I now make a meager living from too), traveling, playing music, cooking, being a beer enthusiast, being a coffee enthusiast, etc. I am very easy to get along with!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I have travelled before and the most brutal expense by far was having to pay for a room to sleep in every night. I am a 28 year old photographer without kids, a wife, or a mortgage and I am wanting to see the world while I'm young and really experience something special. As I do not have much money I am trying to keep my costs down as much as possible. With the help of some incredibly wonderful hosts out there, I could possibly do the thing that I really want to do in my life- see the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge lover of a diverse range of music, movies, and books. I have to admit though that I am not a fan of country music or anything that involves screaming, I rarely watch sic-fi or horror movies, and I don't like really long, boring books.

When I was 14 I found a woman's wallet with over $200 in cash inside of it and I returned it to her.
