About Me
Hi, I'm Nick. In 2016 I escaped my hometown to finally do my PhD, which turned out to be in Prague. I'm staying here for now, but made friends all around Europe. With this, I feel like I've become a traveler. It's great to explore new places, meet new people and share experiences. I'm a biologist and love nature, but also cities, architecture and expecially music! I'm singing in choirs so if I'm having a good time you might catch me singing :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It would be great to spend less money on ho(s)tels to be able to experience better the food, culture and local customs of the place that you're visiting. Let's be honest about that.
But I think it's super cool that this community exists, of people who are excited to meet people from a different culture, to offer their couch and to have a great time together with someone they otherwise would never meet. I feel likewise :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Classical, Balkan traditional, Fado, world music, jazz, motown
A vampires diary; Cloud atlas; V for vendetta; Slumdog millionaire
English novels and Fantasy/Science fiction
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've left everything in my country (fiancé, house, family) behind to start a new life in Central Europe. It's still a bit difficult sometimes but I'm very happy with my decision to follow my dreams.
