About Me
Fledgling couchsurfer looking to get more into it! I've been moving around for a while now, traveling the US (and aspiring to head overseas in the coming years). Still in search of the place where I belong, and enjoying every step of the journey along the way. I'm a runner, reader, swimmer, aspiring writer, and firefighter. Never say no to a good hike. Very clean, conscientious, and friendly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Elliott Smith, Pinegrove, Bon Iver, Gregory Alan Isakov, Sam Cooke, Bruce Springsteen MOVIES: A River Runs Through It, Stand By Me, The End of the Tour, LOTR, anything by Miyazaki BOOKS: Haruki Murakami, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Ursula LeGuin, many many many more (usually my favorite writer is the last one I binged on)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have driven across the Alaskan Highway.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know that there's anything I feel super confident teaching, since I’m still in the process of mastering most things myself (and will probably always consider this to be the case). Be that as it may, I’d be happy to offer some pointers on meditation, or how to do a flip turn. I pride myself on my editing abilities as well, if any fellow writers are looking to swap stories! I love to listen to a good yarn and to share a few of my own- our experiences are the most valuable thing we have to offer one another.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My stories and an ear for theirs. Possibly a pasta dinner as well, if you like red sauce with lots of garlic and veggie meatballs.
