About Me

Three goals in life: learn as much as possible, meet as many people as possible, and try as many new things as possible! I search for the beautiful and the different wherever I go, not only because I'm an optimist - but because it's the best way to learn from and appreciate life. not afraid to go up to a group of strangers ~ Making friends around the world is a dream for me.

I have a passion for travel and language learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe that the most memorable travel experience doesn't come from sights, foods, etc; it comes from interactions with people! Sure, I love meeting other travelers from hostels, but I believe there is something special about meeting locals in a place, to understand how they live and how they feel about where they live.

Sharing stories and having a great time: These are some of the things what I look for in my travels, and it's why I've decided to give Couchsurfing a try.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I appreciate folk, classical, indie, etc, tho honestly I'll listen to just about anything in another language.

Movies: I love movies that manage to make you feel something profound or think about things in a different perspective - To me that is excellent writing.

Books: history, as well as science and fiction books. I also like to read about meditation and anything related to language learning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studied Bengali and used it in India while traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share

Very interested in learning about cool spots and things to do in the places I travel to! Very open minded and spontaneous while traveling.

I love the idea of a language exchange! Can do an informal lesson in a handful of languages I've studied/am learning.😄

Can cook up something vegetarian for ya.
