Originally I'm from Manchester, England. I have lived in different parts of the UK such a Leeds and Huddersfield. I graduated from Huddersfield University with a Law and Business degree. I decided to quit my job and go travelling around South America and the goal is to try and learn Spanish also.

Currently I am living in Medellin, Colombia I have been teaching English in one of the schools here for about a year. Also, I have been learning Spanish I am B1 level at the moment, I am hoping to be B2 before the end of March 2019.

I'm pretty chilled guy, but I'm up for doing something new always, I love a variety of sports playing badminton, going for a hike and football, I'm also keen a beer or 5!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used couch surfing a few a years ago but it was on a friends account and I loved it! You get to meet so many cool people and your not always in hostels, with locals you can find out things that backpackers/travellers are not going to be able to know, locale knowledge of places to eat, go, things to try and knowledge of the area, it's history from a native.

So, I'm trying to visit all the countries in South America, I have been to most of them I have Suriname, Guyana, French Guiana, Uruguay and the falklands (Las Malvinas) left to do. On the way round I have met so many cool people in SA and I am looking to meet many more.

What I am really looking for then is to meet cool people, some good recommendations and possibly go for a beer or two if they have time.
