About Me

Hi!
My name's Nick and I'm a vet who is living in Hong Kong!
I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. It's so interesting to hear about other people's experiences, travels, jobs, interests. I think that's why couchsurfing is such a great idea - it's so easy to meet fun and interesting people!

Im a bit of an adventurer, and that's how I ended up living in Hong Kong. I moved here in 2017 looking for new experiences, with the intention of staying for 1 year. I loved all the beaches, hiking, kayaking and food so much I'm still here now :-)
I love to travel, and have recently been to Kerala, Philippines, Macau, Vietnam, Thailand, Marrakech, Paris, Dubrovnik, Bermuda, Amsterdam and more.
I'm a chatty guy and love to cook and eat. I am pescitarian (dont eat meat but eat fish and seafood) and I love trying local cuisines. I'm also really in to bodyweight based fitness and currently focus on pole dancing, rings and handstands. In the past I have also done ballroom and latin dancing! I've played the oboe and piano since a young age and also enjoy singing and attempting to teach myself the guitar. I'm always keen to check out some local music venues.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mentioned above, I love meeting new people and hearing about all their experiences. Life is too short to be able to do everything yourself so it's great to get some recommendations from friends :-)
