I prefere people to stay for a minimum two nights and arrive before 6.30 pm at the latest. As I want to share some food, cooking, great conversation, laughs and show you where I live, Westport its a great town, lots to offer, mountain biking, hiking short walks to multi day walks, amazing surfing, fantastic secluded beaches, forests where you see no one, just the birds, so much to do !! I have lived in Westport for over twenty years, I know all the secret spots, that you won't find on Google
In return I will give you a room ( with a door that locks), bed, clean sheets and a clean towel and the best shower in NZ

I am a very open minded person.
I am passionate about the great NZ outdoors and I would rather be outdoors enjoying NZ nature having an adventure than sitting inside.
A very keen photographer with my main subjects being beaches, the forests and naked people. I do have lots of photos on display of all three subjects. See if you can spot which photo appears in more than one photo gallery
I have a degree in bad cooking. But I am very good at cleaning dishes !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I picked up two Czech ladies hitch hiking and I ended up hosting them for the night, Veru and her daughter Petra are "couchsurfers" and suggested i should join.
They were very nice people and great company.
So here I am joining couchsurfers.
I enjoy meeting travelers and hearing their stories, life styles.

Well its more than one thing !! Getting naked for photos at 135 different Department of Conservation Back Country Huts............and still counting !! Updated 15/05/23........... the 100th naked hut was Ivory Lake Hut, Google that hut it is in a magical spot !!

I do hope you are enjoying your adventures in New Zealand. Unfortunately I have to go to work, this means that I have to get up early in the morning (early to bed as well).
