i did standup comedy for twelve years and then decided to go travelling and doing volunteering work around the world till i run out of money, blogging, podcasting and writing about my experiences... im liberal, open minded guy of tibetan chinese nepali extraction who grew up in australia whatever that means... i like nature and animals and i know i look like some kind of mongol warlord but i am a gentle soul and a vegetarian - but not a militant one who tries to make u feel bad when u eat meat (truth be known i miss the taste of meat)... i like all kinds of weird music, spiritual crap, playing music, laughing, literature and long walks by underwater active volcanos... i am a good cook having worked in my parents himalayan restaurant for years so if i have the time and ingredients, i will cook u dinner sometime i promise. i will even do a short standup comedy set based around my experience staying with u even if u don't speak english. i am clean, considerate guest and will clean up my mess. i'm very easy going. blah blah blah - i guess this bio is really just a desperate attempt to make u like me enough to put me up for free so lets just say whatever u like i happen to like as well- what a coincidence huh?? i think we r supposed to be together... at least for a short time on ur couch... hell, i'll even do ur dishes and wash ur dog if u got one and if u dont have a dog, i'll buy u a dog and then wash it... thats it for now...

to meet more people from different walks of life to expand my persperctive on this crazy thing called planet earth.... also so i can keep travelling longer because this damn world is so big and interesting and my bank account is dwindling, dwindling...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

i recently did some earthquake relief work im nepal following the april disaster. jesus christ it opened my eyes. very rewRding experience i learnt so much and met so many interesting people and it has led me onto wanting to do more diff kinds of volunteering so i can write about it on my blog amd hopefull a book eventually...

Lehren, lernen, teilen

lessons learnt travelling and meeting others:
1. dont be a dick
2. nothing matters that much so dont worry
3. help others
4. ur way of life is urs and not suitable for everyone so dont push it on anyone else (see lesson one)
5. carry toilet paper and soap at ALL TIMES.
6. ummm i dont really have a number six... uhh... dont make lists of lessons where some of the lessons dont have lessons?
7. ahh i got one- dont try and teach people how to live through crappy lessons that are pretty obvious
