Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just goy back from traveling in Europe for a while and am looking for a place to crash in North Bay while I secure an apartment. Once I get a place (which will be soon), I plan on hosting other couch surfers. I did couch surfing with my friend in Germany and France and found it to be a very positive experience and made some really good friends.

Interests

I love music, and can play guitar, piano and viola. I also like astronomy, philosophy, psychology, art, literature, traveling, yoga, meditation, running, beer and coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music, especially Jazz, Funk, folk and Indy. My favorite bands are Radiohead, Miles Davis, Arcade Fire, Andrew Bird and The Beatles. My favorite authors include Kurt Vonnegut, Ray Bradbury, Ernest Hemingway and Tom Wolfe. I appreciate any good film, but Pulp Fiction, LA Confidential, The Life Aquatic and Star Wars are among my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on an organic farm in Italy for a month, helping to produce olive oil. Then I traveled around Europe, meeting people, trying different foods, going to museums and wine festivals and had quite an adventure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone about playing music if they need help, and can give guitar or piano lessons. I can share great stories and can provide assistance with an essay or last minute paper if needed. I am always interested in learning new things or different lifestyles!
