I've had people tell me for years how rewarding couchsurfing is and I've finally decided to give it a go. I'm really excited to meet new people and see this other side of travelling.

I love all sorts of music, at the moment I'm really into American and English Folk music

My undergrad was in film so I have to be pretentious and say Waltz with Bashir is my favourite movie (Though really it's either Love Actually or Notinghill)

And I love fiction books, anything by Joseph Conrad, Steinbeck,
Non fiction: Paul Theroux is my inspiration

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Sunrise at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, and the final stop after an 8 hour Greyhound ride. Equally beautiful.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can play the guitar and saxaphone, a little harmonica. I speak a little German and some rudimentary Russian and Chinese. I love helping others learn if you want me to teach you a couple of simple songs I'm more than happy.

I also love to cook, so I have recipes from across the world I'd love to teach you.

I can teach you some Australian songs, and cooking. I'm also pretty good at making Japanese dishes
