Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
For my first couchsurfing experience I surfed three couches in three cities, across three countries, over ten days. It was an incredible, totally positive, inspirational, and encouraging adventure.
Interests
I love food and I cook whenever I can.
I love the outdoors; country and city. Just walking or cycling around, exploring, is pretty great too.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies. My two 'desert island' movies would have to be Michaelangelo Antonioni's "L'Avventura" and Dick Donner's "The Goonies". Some of my more recent favourites are Nicolas Winding Refn's "Drive" and Terrence Malick's "Tree of Life".
I love music. My favourite artist is The Tallest Man on Earth.
I love books. My favourite book that I've read has to be Michael Chabon's "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In January of 2012, I packed up my things and moved from Canada to Germany. With no plans but a place to stay, I experienced the other world that is Europe. It wasn't always easy, but it was always good.
