ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 year old guy from Perth, Western Australia. I currently live with my three housemates Patrick, John and Liora who are also couchsurfers. In my spare time I like to go out and have fun and try to experience different things, but I'm not opposed to staying in and curling up on the couch with a good movie and good company.

PHILOSOPHY

Things should be as simple as possible. No pressure, just live and be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting couch surfers when possible. Eventually plan to do it while travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Having had quite a few people stay with me now, I can still safely say it has been a positive, life-changing experience. Everyone has something new to share.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Tend to enjoy Wes Anderson films (Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic, The Darjeeling Limited, The Fantastic Mr Fox, Moonrise Kingdom), any light-hearted comedies (Old School, Anchorman, you know the sort). Micmacs, Amelie, Control. Not a huge fan of horror or thriller movies as I find them painfully predictable although Dead Snow was pretty funny.

Music: Grizzly bear, Stars, Yeasayer, The xx, Taylor Swift (heck yeah), The Strokes, Bloc Party, Frank Ocean, Jurassic 5, Purity Ring, M83, New Order... too many to list.

Books: Anything by David Eddings, Lord of the rings, Game of thrones, the tomorrow series by John Marsden.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did part of the inca trail and spent the morning at Machu Picchu.
