About Me
ABOUT ME
"All about me?" Who wrote this thing? It's never about me. I'm 21 student of IT at Utah State University. I go to school full time and work the rest of the time (exciting, I know). Oh, yes, I live in Logan, Utah, which is the most rip-roaring-exciting place, well... ever! Hmm, what to say? Somehow, the instructions "You can include anything at all" are not very reassuring. I like to travel and I'm up for new adventures. I'm definitely a night owl. I love laughing and I have my own awesome sense of humor. If my life were in webcomic form, it would be Boy On A Stick And Slither.
PHILOSOPHY
My existence and happiness are not contingent upon your religion or your acceptance of me. There is no god, there is no afterlife, and there are no do-overs, so live your life in the now. If you think about it, Atheists are really the most moral of us all -- they are just nice because they truly want to be, not because they are scared into it by the some "divine power" or cultural pressure. You should be nice because you want to, and you should want to be nice. I don't dwell on the past, but examining the now and looking at ways to improve the future is cool, worthwhile, and should be done more often.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm pretty new to this whole couch surfing thing, so I'm here to check it out.
Interests
The Internet. Everything awesome connects with the Internet, doesn't it? Netflix is awesome, too (hmm, Netflix uses the Internet, coincidence?). I love watching movies and I have a ton of DVDs. A ton! I also quite enjoy cooking, though I have little time for that lately. When I have not-so-surprise visitors or when I'm feeling ambitious for no apparent reason, I make homemade cheesecake. I enjoy playing games with friends. Board games. Card games. Board games. Puzzles are cool, too, because they are like board games but they are less intense and take longer so you get to know people better. Photography. Science. Learning about other cultures and other ways of life always makes good conversation.
