I'm new to this site, so I haven't been able to have people stay with me yet. I hope to in the future, though, and until then, I promise I'll be a good guest! :)

Interests

Like many people on this website, I love being around people, learning new things. I'm generally an energetic person who likes a party. I also love reading (especially science and philosophy), music (all styles), sports and anything else that's fun. Most of all, I value good conversation and nice people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
Popular science writers like R. Dawkins, Steven Pinker, Matt Ridley, James Gleick etc.
Philosophy: Karl Popper, David Hume..
I also like fiction stuff, like Martin Amis, Graham Greene, Alex Garland, E.T.A. Hoffman, Ludwig Tieck, George Macdonald Fraser...
Movies: Anything funny or interesting, really.
Music-wise, I like pretty much anything, but especially: Massive Attack, The Cure, The Stone Roses, The Pixies, DJ Shadow, Burial, most good drum'n'bass, any music with some energy and a nice tune, basically. I'm always happy to hear new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a parachute jump one, if that counts as amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can happily teach English and German, which I do professionally.
