ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Nick. I'm friendly and pretty out going. I like to travel and plan to visit every continent during my lifetime. I enjoy pretty much any board sport, and would like to learn to kite board.. Frisbee, microbreweries, music and camping are a few things I enjoy. Feel free to say hello, I enjoy making new friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly just surfing. If I had a place of my own right now I would offer it, but unfortunately I do not. I am willing to go camping with people though, so if you're into camping let me know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I mainly use CS to meet up with other travelers and get suggestions on things to do. I have stayed with a few people through couchsurfing and had nothing but very positive experiences. Most of the time it seems I find people to stay with just out and about traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. I play the guitar and piano. Listen to all different kinds of music, although I'm not too big on country music. Foo Fighters, Elliot Smith, Blind Pilot are just a few bands I like. I enjoy reading, usually fiction. Love movies and there are too many that I like to start naming them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This wasn't so much a thing that I did but rather experienced. I was on a red-eye flight from Anchorage, AK to Denver, CO in 2012; the Northern Lights were out in full force that night and I had an amazing view of them from the plane. For at least an hour we flew right along side them; it looked like a giant green dragon stretched across the sky. It was beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've taught a few friends to play guitar but it was really informal. Music is a passion of mine and I'd really like to learn to sing at some point in my life. I have an interest in learning French and Spanish and I'm also willing to help people with learning English if they're interested.
