ABOUT ME

My name is Nick.
I was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. And now I'm in Graz, Austria. Why? Well, I studied composition in Ukraine and than I thought, that it would be interesting to study somewhere in Europe, so I came to Graz and started to study composition and electronic music. I almost ready with my MA. I hope i could stay here for some time more to work on my crazy projects. I love music, performances and I think a lot of things, which are close to art...
I also love to travel, i do hitchhiking. Its amazing to meet new people...
I also love vynil, different old analog keyboards, ties and monty python.

PHILOSOPHY

I think I live for Art, 'cause I always have another new idea, and I always want to create something: Music, homepage, photo, video, performance, installation... and so on... But I think, that it isn't good enough to live only like that, I try to change it. I think I have to live more for me also... and not only for art. ) So I'm learning.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I decided to make an account here because of few reasons:
1. I'm going to go to Karlsruhe - I would present some projects @ ZKM there.
2. I like to travel and I always think, that I have not enough people around, so I would be happy to meet some.
3. I'm open for guests. I have cool neighbours and a lot of our friends visit us, and I really enjoy it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I think have a lot of stories, in which I slept together with my friends on petrol stations, because we couldn't find someone, who could take us with... ) But I think that such situations are also fine. Once, sitting the whole night on petrol station (Two friends of me were sleeping) I composed a cool song for the next CD I made then with my band...
