I started traveling the world after I finished my first year of university and fell in love with it. I've been to 40 countries, including many in Central America, Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe. I will be traveling until I cannot anymore starting in August 2017 and hopefully never ending! As a US native I speak fluent English, have a decent smattering of Spanish, and am working on my Italian as I will soon be a dual Italian-US citizen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I started this most recent trip with very little money post-college, saving money is obviously a goal but meeting locals who know how to have a good time, want to teach me something about their local culture, or would just like to point me in the direction of the nearest hidden attraction or pub would be awesome! I'm heading back to the US in May and can't wait to host travelers myself!!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty open to every genre of music, classic rock is my go. I love to read when I have the chance; Name of the Wind and a Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss are amazing, - if only he would finish the trilogy. Naturally I'm a Game of Thrones fan (or a Song of Ice and Fire series if GOT offends you haha).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once broke my neck and didn't go to the hospital for 4 days. Amazing? Stupid? You decide.

But actually camping on Acatenango in Guatemala and watching El Fuego erupt throughout the night was life-changing.
