Overview
About Me
I recently made the exciting move to La Paz, Baja California Sur, after numerous visits, often in my camper van. I've now taken the plunge to call this wonderful place my home. My apartment is conveniently located just a couple of blocks from the main square in El Centro de La Paz. I share my living space with Valentina, my easygoing Mexican street dog who's just as eager to meet new faces as I am. Also, my girlfriend, Elsa, is a familiar face here. She is a local Pacena artist and pranic healer that is an endless wealth of knowledge of the local scene here in La Paz, and in La Baja in general.
I'm super easy going and love meeting new people. I'm down to hangout or let you do your own thing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to road trip a lot alone before I discovered couchsurfing. It's great being on the open road and figuring it out as you go, but there's nothing like meeting people along the way and discovering the things that the people who live there actually like to do.
It was on a long motorcycle trip on a small enduro motorcycle that I discovered couch surfing on a whim, and I haven't looked back since.
I've never had a situation where I could host couch surfers, but have been a guest for many years, especially before I discovered #vanlife. But now I am settling down in a two bedroom apartment here in beautiful La Paz and want to give back to the community that gave so much to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Sylvan Esso, Milky Chance, Vance Joy, Bon Iver are some favorites right now.
I've been too busy for movies really.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left college to start a company doing UAV (drone) work. That job took me around the world and even got me on to the set of Mad Max 4.
Built out a camper van and moved to NYC to do #vanlife, followed by traveling throughout the USA and Baja in Mexico.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a self-taught engineer, with experience in robotics, manufacturing, vertical farming, automotive, and even interactive art sculptures. I'm more than happy to teach people about these worlds, and encourage people to believe in themselves and tackle a complicated project.
I can teach CAD, CAM, pcb design, mechanical design, and a bit of embedded programming.
I'm also pretty good with a set of wrenches/screwdrivers/multimeter. If something is broken around your place, chances are I can fix it (or at the very least diagnose the problem).
I'm very interested in learning how to cook.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company.
Stories from my travels.
I'm handy can help fix things (usually travel with tools in the van)
