À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Expand my horizons
ABOUT ME
I´m a strong believer in the ´work hard, play hard´ mentality and after too much study and work over the past 5 years, I figured it was time for a bit more ´play-time´. Accordingly, I´m currently travelling the world in search of something... I´m not exactly sure yet but a new perspective on life and memorable experiences spring to mind. Fun, new friends, languages/cultures, as well as incredible landscapes, buildings, etc. and of course the occasional party are also on my agenda.
The essentials about me: I'm a 27 year old easy going Aussie with a great sense of humour, who likes to have fun, travel and a good old laugh. I do have a serious responsible 'business' side to me however I try to leave that in the office. I love the outdoors (especially the water - boating, fishing etc.) and can't wait to see what the world has to offer!!!
PHILOSOPHY
LTD. Live The Dream
Work hard, play hard.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined CS as it's a really fantastic way to meet new people and friends. I believe the people one meets whilst travelling is just as important (if not more important) than the sights you see.
In addition, a local CS is the best way for a travelling CS to understand a new city and culture.
Although I'm travelling for the next 12 months, when I finally settle my couch and local knowledge sharing services will always be open.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Being a newby to CS I've only had a few surfing experiences. These include surfing in Krakow and Wroclaw (Poland) and Idstein in Germany. I've also met up with some great people at cafes and bars to share stories about travel, life, cities etc.
My CouchSurfing experiences to date have all been positive and I really look forward to meeting many new friends in the future!!!!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Movies: Gladiator, Old School, Anchor Man, Robin Hood, King Arthur, Transformers, The Castle and Cracker Jack (Aussie Films), I Am Legend, American Gangster, Black Hawk Down, Top Gun.
Music: Pretty much a fan of everything (House, Pop, Techno, Jazz, Classical, etc.) except heavy heavy metal (sorry to all those heavy metal fans).
Books: Reading reminds me of study and work so I rarely pick up a good novel.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Tubing/Partying at Vang Vieng (Loas).
Getting stranded on a reef in the middle of the Pacific Ocean (off Fiji) in a 3 metre leaky boat with no radio, life jackets or oars with a massive storm on the brew. Things got really lairy when the Fijian boat driver jumped over board and started to tow the boat using nothing but a pair of flippers (yes - as in the type you use for snorkling).
Camp Ruckomechi on the Zambezi river in Zimbabwe when I was a young fella. Canoeing and yes even swimming with Crocs and Hippos, as well as hiking around with the full suite of African flora and fauna. Definitely one of the best life experiences I've ever had.
Pays que j'ai visités
Botswana, Cambodia, Czech Republic, Fiji, Germany, Indonesia, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Swaziland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Viet Nam, Zambia, Zimbabwe
