About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To wake up.

ABOUT ME

I have no idea what to write. Except that I am open, friendly, easy-going and considerate. I am a graphic designer and musician.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if I have a personal philosophy. What i try to do is to be good to everybody i meet, because everybody has their own fires to put out. I try to help where i can, give advice, listen, be understanding. It's fairly simple, but i guess i just want to be a positive element in the lives of those i meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used couchsurfing while travelling to meet locals and to save some money. Now that I am a little more settled, i would love to open my door to new people and help them on their path, whatever that may be. I can offer friendship, respect, conversation and maybe even some laughter. Also, beer. I can offer beer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with some people in Vienna and Zagreb. I had a great experience and look forward to meeting more interesting people from all over the world.

Interests

Playing guitar/piano/ukulele, song-writing, reading, graphic design, web design, walking, learning, living, loving.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch nearly enough films. My music taste is fairly diverse but i do have a soft spot for music from the 60's/70's. Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, The Beatles, Love, Led Zeppelin, Crusaders, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, Bob Dylan. Having said that i still enjoy some contemporary music; Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Ben Folds, Fleet Foxes, Husky, Laura Marling. Definitely a folky vibe in there. I also write acoustic instrumental music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing i have done is something that is unending. The sharing of experience with others, the forming of relationships, the cultivation of trust and respect. To have been able to share the beautiful and the mundane with the people i love.

I also drank 3 litres of milk in one sitting once, that was pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar, some piano, and general music theory. I can also teach Graphic Design and web-based programming.

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Fiji, France, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom
