I currently live in Winchester, VA. But I really am considering selling all my stuff and becoming a digital nomad. My cat recently passed and I need to see the world a bit before I'm too old, i'm not even sure where I want to settle. I miss the light weight living, shedding that extra weight is an amazing feeling. I did it 4 years ago when I moved from Denver, CO to Reston, VA and only took a few things with me. Now I've collected a bunch of garbage that I really don't need.

I some things I love are computers, arduino electronics, engineering, fish, beaches, and music. I enjoy watching and dissecting how things are made. I'm a foodie, and love to cook.

I'm not so much looking for a place to stay as I am friends to travel with. I can't call a single one of my current friends and just take off somewhere. Everyone is tied down, it's a real bummer for a bachelor like me, where you're really looking to meet someone who can just pick up and go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience so far was meeting the CS co-founders brother in Boston needing an emergency place to stay. A couple years later, my new friend came out to stay with me in Colorado. So far, great experience.

I'm currently training on development/engineering subjects related to Javascript, NodeJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, React, Linux, AWS, Python, and MicroPython.
