Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
To rediscover the beautiful connections that lie under stones long unturned.
ABOUT ME
I'm a sometimes shy, sometimes outgoing, always fascinated person, looking to find my way through Mexico, Central and South America. I like to visit beautiful and interesting places, but more important to me is meeting people and making friends to share the journey with.
At the moment I'm looking to find a different lifestyle, less complicated and busy, because lately I've been feeling overwhelmed by the "stresses" of modern life.
PHILOSOPHY
I'd like to say that I always live for the moment, and treat every day as if it's my last, however at the moment this is still an aspiration, something that I'm working towards. So I would say I live to find out how to live for the moment. I'm tired of watching my life slip by, so much time wasted on pointless, dull activities. Enough is enough.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only recently joined Couch Surfing, so I haven't had an opportunity to extend a welcome for people to surf on my couch yet, however I endevour to be a respectful, fun and interesting guest. I will spread the word and tell people I meet about the CS community, and when I return to Australia I plan to open my doors to others and return the favour.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not personally had any couch surfing experience, although a house of my friends used to regularly host surfers, many of whom were great folks.
Centres d'intérêt
I love dancing, singing, talking, laughing, reading, swimming, thinking, writing, drawing, painting, kissing, cooking, eating... I love to sit by a fire and look at the stars. I love to joke and be silly and act like a fool, and I love to have people to be silly with. I love to be alone and in silence.I love beer and wine and the occasional smoke. I love listening to music and watching movies, playing cards and chess.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Any movie that doesn't follow boring stereotypes, or if it does it has to be stupid enough to laugh at. Music depends on my mood, but there's music in every genre that I like to listen to. Generally I like anything with funk, and lately I've been hearing heaps of Jazz and chilled electro.
All time favourite books: Catch 22, Hitchikers Guide T.T.G., most things by Tom Robbins, an anarchist collective's book called Expect Resistance, others I can't remember.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Driving through the desert in South Australia. Watching the sun rise over the desert was incredible, and being in a place where everywhere you looked, in all directions, was completely flat.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I've been learning spanish for the past 4 months, so I hope to continue learning as I travel, because my abilities speaking and understanding are still very low. I would love to help anyone who wants to learn more english.
I'm interested in learning more about permaculture and alternative, community based agriculture, and hope to spend some time becoming involved in these kind of projects.
I have a pretty good knowledge of environmental issues and the way that human development is affecting humans and other species. This stuff is really important to me, and I hope to to share what I know with anyone who will listen.
I can play guitar, and can teach anyone the basics of how to play.
