About Me
Hello! My name is Nicki and I love trying new things and going to new places. I moved to Hawaii when I was 20 with a friend because it's always been a dream of mine. The 2 years that I spent there have changed my life and opened my eyes to a much bigger world. The thought of traveling makes me very excited for new experiences to come. I love hiking, anything in the water and at the beach, and walking the busy strips in the city. I love to eat! I like trying new foods, within reason.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think this website brings great opportunities to people. I learned of this site when I was in Hawaii. A very trusting friend of mine introduced the idea to me and that very same week I was hosting my own couch surfer. It was a great feeling to help someone out in need while I was in the position to be able to offer my help. I totally believe in karma and wherever/whenever I get myself settled I hope to be able to offer great experiences to those looking to visit the area.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love hip-hop, r&b, and rap. I got hooked on reggae and "Hawaiian music" and still find myself listening to Bob Marley and J Boog on Pandora.
I like comedy movies.
Books: currently James Patterson
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Hawaii I hiked "Stairway to Heaven". It's a hike that is illegal to do and blocked off by security guards. I went with a group of friends at 2am when the guards weren't there. Scariest hike I've ever done! Google it, it's crazy.
Teach, Learn, Share
You are in charge of your own happiness. I remind myself of this when I'm not happy and use it as motivation to do something that makes me happy.
