Hi I'm Nicki

I'm a bubbly, friendly, down to earth Aussie girly that loves travelling, meeting new people and visiting new places :)

I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing in Sydney where I currently reside but have also lived in Cairns, Far North Queensland and Denver, Colorado.

I’m a massive animal lover and a mummabear to 4 beautiful fur babies (2 cats, 2 dogs). I also volunteer at the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre on Fitzroy Island, Great Barrier Reef looking after sick and injured sea turtles :)

My other great loves include playing the saxophone and ukelele, snorkelling, scuba diving and going on adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide variety of music, movies/tv shows and books. Too many to name.

Music: quite eclectic. world music,classical, saxophone, ukelele, indie/folk, some pop, 60s, Jazz, big band, swing, blues etc. I play saxophone and my favourite saxophonist is Charlie Parker (whom I named by beloved dog after)

Movies: too many to name but some examples are mystic river, fifth element, lord of the rings, Star Wars, 21 grams, wonder.

Tv shows: Chicago PD/fire/med, Greys anatomy, law and order SVU, the good doctor, the resident, wenworth, orange is the new black, designated survivor to name a few.

Books: most genres I’ll read. But I do love maeve binchy novels, they’re a definite guilty pleasure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed mount Kinabalu, scuba dived some amazing places, rescue and rehabilitate sea turtles :)
