ABOUT ME

I'm at a student at Ohio State studying Environmental Science and Spanish. I'm kinda quiet at first, but once I warm up to people I can be loud (but a comfortable level of loud). I love to laugh, listen to music, and hang out with friends and have warm conversation. Real laid back and I like to go with the flow. I like to cook and enjoy some nice beer and wine. I especially like to do those two at the same time.

PHILOSOPHY

I've got a strong appreciation and respect for the environment. I try to consider the environment and reduce my energy usage whenever possible. Aside from that, I love getting to know about different cultures and meeting new people. I try to keep an open mind about everything I encounter and being nice to everyone I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed twice, and I haven't hosted yet. I surfed in Switzerland and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. The two people my friends and I stayed with helped us so much. The first guy took us out for fondu and payed for it all, and the second girl drove us to an airport 2 hours away at 3 in the morning so my friends and I could make it back to Spain in time so we didn't fail our classes. They refused money we tried to give them for helping us. Shows you there are truly amazing and altruistic people out there.

Anything Wes Anderson or Quentin Tarantino has touched. I'm getting into the R&B and motown type music right now, but there's plenty more I like. Frank Ocean, Raphael Saadiq, Fleet Foxes, The National, Bon Iver, James Blake, The Walkmen, more. Love music. Don't read a ton, but I do enjoy Kurt Vonnegut.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing I've done thus far is studying in Spain for 4 months and traveling around during that time. I met so many cool people and travelled to so many cool place. Surfed in Portugal, went to a music festival in Paris, visited friends in Sweden, drank copious amounts of glühwein in the Christmas markets in Germany, jumped into a canyon in Interlaken, Switzerland in the very snowy mountains, played with monkeys in Gibraltar, and bargained for carpets while drinking mint tea in Morocco.
