Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Continue to enjoy both working and goofing off at the same time
ABOUT ME
I'm more of a listener, not a talker. Most of the best times of my life have involved the outdoors...surfing, snowboarding, climbing, or camping. I enjoy genuine, solid friends more than most, but I am not super social. Doing great outdoor activities with friends is the best.
PHILOSOPHY
Have fun but somehow make a living. Time is the most important thing to enjoy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted bit and surfed a few times while travelling. Meeting locals in new places makes traveling 100x better and it's always fun to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a great time in Sydney with a few hosts, as well as Oregon and Washington.
Interests
Outdoor action is a big part of my life, but I enjoy the company of good friends/family as much as anything. I enjoy activities involving the ocean and water; surfing is huge, but swimming, rafting, etc. is all so sweet. When winter comes around, hiking up a mountain in the backcountry and flying down on my snowboard is as good as it gets.
Others: houndogs, soccer, golf, wine, sometimes learning engineering at school is actually nice.

Music, Movies, and Books
60's rock, funk, jazz, classical. As for books, I don't read too much, but I powered through a few Ayn Rand books and I liked how they made me think.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lightning in the middle of the Indian Ocean striking perfectly to my favorite classical piano song.
