In Suva for research collaboration with USP.

I'm also a recent graduate working in the Department of the Environment and Energy. In the past I have been involved in social community projects, mostly in the Asia-Pacific. I'm originally from Melbourne but have spent the bulk of the past few years living in Indonesia, Timor and Papua. Outside of our projects, I spend most of my time with food, friends and family...

Adventure tends to happen when we are least organized and haven't made any plans...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first was introduced to couchsurfing while traveling through India. A good friend told me I should make a profile and through CS I made some great new friends in cities I had never been to before...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first ever couchsurfing experience was in India ~ an experience I will not soon forget... Ever since, I have enjoyed hosting, surfing, and traveling with new friends from CS and others...

Interests

Traveling of course! Immersion in developing countries is the most rewarding as you challenge yourself to learn more and adapt to difficult conditions... I spend my time studying, learning in villages, meeting friends, planting trees, swimming, trekking, reading, playing music etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Safari in Kenya, crashed while riding a bicycle rickshaw in the park in front of the Taj Mahal! Hitch-hiking in Timor Leste... Scuba diving through a shipwreck in the North Java sea... Swimming across Sentani Lake in Papua.
