CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to start a journey around the world with and find a place that makes me want to stay. Discover other cultures, learn other languages, challenge my perspectives, my deepest thoughts, and emotions.

This was my current mission in 2002, when I joined couchsurfing. I travelled the world for 6 years and fell in Love with Gili Air and its people.

ABOUT ME

I'm a positive, happy, warm-hearted person. I believe the glass is always half-full and every moment should be filled with happiness. I get along with almost everyone and when I don't, I believe we can still have a good time. I love to help people. I've had different roommates from friend to grandmothers :o), so I have a good capacity to ajust and respect someones habbits and properties. I love to work and I always worked with one purpose = to travel. I want to fullfil my dream and travel travel travel. I'm responsible and trustworthy.

PHILOSOPHY

I think we should follow our dreams without loosing out of sight the fact to stay productive and independant. Every day I try to learn something. To keep evolving and keep going forward... Enrich ourselves and the people that surround us in everyway. Share our knowledge. And laugh all the time !! :o) It makes us feel ALIVE AND HAPPY.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm a hoster in Gili Air (Island between Bali and Lombok) Indonesia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not hosted yet, surfed a few times. I came in touch with the couchsurfing experience trew my cousin, Samantha Karn who travelled trew Ireland couchsurfing and a couple of friend David Arandia and Julie Bertone who were hosting 2 girls, it seemed like a wonderfull association... we'll see won't we :o)

Interests

I worked as a Dive Instructor, my biggest passion. Now I run my own business with 2 other partners. Living in the coral triangle, where the underwater diversity is the highest worldwide. I'm a corizen of the world. I love the blue planet! Sport, Running, horsebackriding, hiking, swimming, yoga, pilates, partying, dancing... Just discovered a new passion Acro Yoga, fire spinning and joining both as a Gili Magic Crew. We are looking for monkeys to join the crew :). I love music: guitare, djembé, ... never got a chance to perfection the art but I still hope one day I will find the time ;o) Also electronic music, trance - goa, house music,rock, trip hop, electronica,...I love art, movies, books - read all the Harry
Potters ;op, anyway I think this gives an idea

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkelling with whale sharks off Isla Mujeres, when the group reached 300 members.
